Habitat International was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. They began building homes for low income families and that became what is known today as Habitat for Humanity International. Springfield/Eugene Habitat for Humanity has built 46 homes in the cities of Eugene, Springfield and Veneta. Habitat for Humanity provides high quality, affordable resale of building materials and supplies.
